Hemp, Comfrey, Arnica are all prudent pain-relievers, anti-inflammatories and healers of tissue. Witch Hazel is a natural derivative from the witch hazel plant that has been used for centuries. It is an all-purpose anti-inflammatory, is soothing and cooling, and also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal. It is an excellent natural herbal carrier for the other herbal ingredients. Isopropyl alcohol acts as a co-carrier for the herbal constituents and rapidly evaporates from the skin after it has done its job. The alcohol content ensures the best extraction of the therapeutic constituents of the herbs and the deepest possible penetration of the active ingredients. An all-purpose antiseptic and disinfectant, isopropyl alcohol is often used for rubdown after physical exertion and for general massage purposes.

Just apply a splash to a cotton ball or into the palm of your hand and massage into painful areas. It is important to firmly rub the liniment in for several minutes (past the initial cool sensation) to stimulate blood circulation in the effected tissue or joint area. Of course, use lighter pressure for a sprain, bruise, very sore muscle, or painful area.
